Feliz Navidad!!!

We decided for Christmas this year we were gonna go somewhere hot. We went to Mexico from Dec.18 to the 25. We all enjoyed everything while on vacation like the sun, sand, ocean, pools, NAPS, relaxing, reading, eating and most of all being together on Christmas.
I took tons of photos so I'm posting some of our
favourites we took while on vacation.

The above pictures are of the Coba ruins. They are the only ruins that you can climb. Jeremy climbed all they way to the top and the picture below is a picture of the view from up there.

Oh Christmas Tree

On the 1st of December we spent the evening decorating the tree.
Connor was very good putting all the decorations on. It was a nice
evening to spend together to start off the holiday season. Also
being that we were not gonna be home for a week in December
i wanted to get as much holiday spirit in at home we could.

Pirates & Pumpkins

This year for Halloween Connor was a Pirate. He totally pulled it off and loved it. My
brother was around this year for Halloween so he decided to be a pirate as well. We
took a few pictures during the day before we went out trick or treating.
Connor was really into it this year. Running from house to
house and saying trick or treat non stop tell
he got his candy.

We got some pumpkins and did some carving. I only got two cause i thought one of us
would help Connor. Daddy ended up doing the pumpkin by his self. Connor
kept saying EWWWW and did not wanna touch
the pumpkin at all. But after daddy finished
carving Connor got to draw on the
pumpkin.

Viva Las Vegas!

Well i guess you can call this our honeymoon and Jeremy calls it my Anniversary present. Jeremy and I went on a 5 day holiday to Las Vegas with some friends In September. Connor got to stay with Nana, Auntie Amanda and Grandma C.C. We were very thankful for that. Well its Vegas so we did allot of stuff. I'll just let you know the awesome details.Well we of course walked down the Strip allot. We had a day we just sat by the pool, had drinks ($16 drinks ) and tanned. That was probably our most relaxing time of our vacation. We went shopping at the Premium Outlet. I spoiled myself there :) I got myself 2 coach purses.
We made it down to Fremont Street (the old strip). That was pretty cool. The last day we rented a car and drove to Hoover Dam. That was a must see for us. I must say we had a good time. Hanging out with friends and taking it easy as much as we can.We are happy we got to see Vegas and Hoover Dam but our next trip is gonna be somewhere we can just lay on the beach. There just was to much walking for us.

Us on the plane and then limo to Hotel.

First time seeing the Strip at Night.

On our way to Hoover Dam and at Margaritaville

Bye Bye Vegas!

Go Eskimos!!!!!!

This year I got a chance to go to my very first football Game. Celine and i were so excited. We drove up to Edmonton, parked at the mall and took the LRT. We were so scared that we were gonna miss our stop. But we made it in time for the game. You will probably never catch me watching a game at home by the way. But to go there and be so close to the field, and around all those crazy fans was pretty cool. Before the game started the Snowbirds flew by.We thought that was pretty cool. Every time they scored a goal... oh i mean TOUCHDOWN (i learnt that much at the game)
there would be fireworks. It was a nice evening to get out of the house and enjoy outdoors watching a game.Hopefully next year I can go again but....
GO RIDERS!!!!
I was born and raised in Saskatchewan and i feel that i should cheer for them..
Well my husband thinks different :)

Summer 2011

Just a few pictures of some stuff we did this summer!
The photos are not in order.
But we did allot of walking at by the lake park,
Splash park in Millet, And went to our new favourite lake.
We had friends move to Elkford B.C from Ontario so we went on a road trip to visit them.
It was our highlight of the Summer.
We went and checked out Jurassic Forest. It was pretty cool
all the dinosaurs were motion activated so when
you walked by they would move. Connor was not really sure
about it at first but halfway through he realised they
were not real :)
Every Year at Reynolds Museum they have a harvest weekend.
So we went and saw all the old Machinery at work. Connor is a tractor fanatic,
Well i mean truck.. Everything to him is a truck. So he really enjoyed
getting to go on the old tractors or cars.
We hope next summer Jeremy can take a few more days off and
maybe take us Camping.
Well that pretty much sums up our
Summer of 2011

Stopped in Sparwood, B.C to see the biggest truck.

Canada Day!!

Today we spent the day fishing. I went and got my first fishing rod and some hooks. I must say i really enjoyed it, I could of stayed on the boat all day. I never did catch a fish, but it was just as much fun catching weeds. I would catch weeds every time, so i hold the record for that. After we were done on the boat we sat around and ate some yummy food. It was a good day to spend Canada day with My Family. I can't wait for our next fishing day. We ended the day by going to the fireworks. Connor's first time seeing them, we went a little earlier then when they started so we can get a good seat. We ended up getting good seats but Connor fell asleep before they started. So hopefully next year he can enjoy them with us.

This picture was takin the week before. But i thought i would put in on here. I didn't have my camera when we were on the boat but he fell asleep in the exact same spot on Canada Day
Happy Canada Day!!

May Long Weekend!

Jeremy took the weekend of so we decided to go camping in Em-Te-Town. It's a really cute place, they have it set up like a Western town. In there little town they have a Saloon, Jail, Hotel, Laundry Mat, Barber Shop,Restaurant and so much more. You can chose from a Cabin, Motel or just stay at  the Campground. We chose the Motel witch came with a shower, two double beds and satellite. I would have to say this is how i like to camp. I have never been to Em-Tee-Town town before but i would recommend (http://www.emtetown.com/) it if your in the Alder Flats area. We had such a good weekend Relaxing and visiting with The Dublanko's.

Connor loved the horses.                             The Motel

Cutie Pie!!                                     Looking at the horses.
